Welcome to the summer research class! This class is designed to hone your skills in using print and online resources to organize and compose a research paper. You'll learn how to evaluate websites and news sources (real? fake news?) and learn the correct way to give credit to the writing and ideas of others.
What you learn over the next two weeks will help you in every other research assignment you have as a student here at MBA. You'll be on your way to becoming an excellent researcher and a NoodleTools ninja (more on that later ....)!
Class Rules and Expectations
Come to class every day on time and with a positive attitude. ALWAYS bring your folder (which I will give you on the first day of class) and all handouts, notes, and assignments.
Raise your hand before you speak. Take your participation and comments seriously.
Respect others through your words and actions. That includes their computers and computer spaces.
Stay on task. Since this class involves computer work, only use your computer for class assignments unless you have permission to venture elsewhere!
