Summer Class: 8th Grade Research and Communications: Overview of the Class

This guide is for use of summer school students only. During the regular 8th grade school year, use the libguide "8th Grade Research and Speech Class."

Research Class

Welcome to the summer research class!  This class is designed to hone your skills in using print and online resources to organize and compose a research paper.  You'll learn how to evaluate websites and news sources (real? fake news?) and learn the correct way to give credit to the writing and ideas of others.

What you learn over the next two weeks will help you in every other research assignment you have as a student here at MBA.  You'll be on your way to becoming an excellent researcher and a NoodleTools ninja!
